Gary Goulding had a freak engine failure on Friday afternoon, but a successful overnight engine swap ensured the single cam was back in action for Qualifying on Saturday morning!



 

Tony "The Tiger" Chapman made his X3 debut at Round 4 after competing in his Formula Ford at preceding State Rounds in 2015.



 

Cam Bartholomew had a great Round 4 taking out 3 wins from 3 starts, here being closely pursued by Chris Donnelly in the Bumble Bee.




Sean Beggs had his best meeting yet, running well up the field, setting PB's and racing Mark Pryor hard all weekend!



 

Mark Pryor installed a fresh engine prior to Round 4 and gave it a solid hit out in preparation for his final hillclimb event of 2015.



 

Cam Bartholomew and CD at it again in Race 3, racing hard and fast but not swapping paint.




Chris Donnelly sporting some repaired panels in the Sunday races after an unlucky coming together with a kangaroo down at Siberia in the first race on Saturday. Chris DNF'ed that race due to a holed radiator.



 

The start of the final race of 2015 with Bartholomew getting the jump and Chaseling making a great start to challenge Donnelly. Tony Chapman is keen to get moving in the background!!



 

David 'Patto' Paterson made a strong debut in the QRDA Hyundai, getting into the 1.42's on his first outing!




Mark Lamberth leads a recovering Brock Giblin in Race 2 on Sunday morning.



 

Chaseling fighting hard with championship contender Terrance Kielly in Race 2 on Sunday, Terrance made a good recovery from an incident with Giblin at Turn 10 earlier in the race.

Danai Holst got some big air as he attacked the T-Junction kerbs, on the charge in Race 2.



 

The MG Car Club single cam being driven hard by either Richard Mattea or Gary Goulding, both drivers shared the car throughout the weekend.




Ellie Kertai had a great Round 4, beating many more experienced competitors and driving with a lot of confidence on a new set of MCA coil over suspension.

Richard Chaseling and Lauren Bradford resumed their Round 1 hostilities and diced hard all weekend, here seen diving through the Esses.




Lauren Bradford finished an excellent 3rd overall for the round after qualifying 4th in the #68 owned by Bruce Elliott, here smashing through the Esses in front of Tony Chapman.

Newcomers Bill Murdoch and David Paterson had some ripper battles throughout the weekend, finishing all the races with big smiles on their faces!




Brock Giblin nailed a great lap to grab Pole Position for Round 4 and did a solid job all weekend, the rear bumper looks like it is thinking about parting company in this ripper Pete Trapnell shot!



 

Bartholomew leads an angry pack of Excels at the end of lap 1 in Race 1, Donnelly was soon to come in contact with a Kangaroo and cause a subsequent DNF which closed the championship chase right up .



 

The Bumble Bee looking pristine prior to unfortunate contact with a Kangaroo in Race 1, CD recovered well with a 2nd in Race 2 from the rear of the grid and a 4th in the final event to take out the Championship!




Richard Chaseling drove well all weekend, finishing 2nd for the round and showing some solid speed, ominous signs for the competition for the upcoming 2016 season!

Ellie improved her PB by a big margin on a new suspension package, getting into the 1.41's which is terrific in her first season of racing!




Tony Walsh was a big help to the MG Car Club boys with their engine swap on Friday and did a ripper job to seal the Single Cam Championship for 2015 with a strong season of driving.



 

Cameron Bartholomew was a welcome addition to the CAMS Series X3 ranks in 2015, taking the fight right up to the front runners all year. Cam finished a brilliant 2nd overall for the year after missing Round 1 in March and the QHC in June.



 

Patto traded a commentary microphone in for an Excel steer at Round 4 and got a taste of these exciting little cars with some great racing with the likes of Goulding and Murdoch.

Friday practice gave many the opportunity to see where they were at pace wise, both Giblin and Bartholomew were close all weekend, qualifying in an almost identical lap time of 1:36.7.



 

Terrance Kielly fell ill during Sunday's events and handed the keys of the 12 to uncle Jamie Kielly for the final race of 2015. Terrance took the fight up to Donnelly and Bartholomew all year and finished a great 3rd overall for the season.




Bartholomew leads Terrance Kielly in qualifying, Bart Kielly suffered some inexplicable brake issues with the 12 car that hampered his weekends pace.



 

Danai Holst had a cam belt replaced on Sunday morning by Bruce Elliott and a check of the wheel alignment (no change required) prior to Race 2 on Sunday morning. Danai had a massive tank slapper at Turn 10 on lap 1 but recovered well to finish 11th and set a PB of 1:41.339.
